SOFT SHOE: Jean Rochefort proved there is a first time for everything, even at  80, by attending the Dior Homme show Saturday.

 

The veteran French actor pointed at the shiny colored sneakers he has been wearing since injuring his back several years ago. So far, though, he has only amassed 10 pairs, expressing amazement that some sneaker enthusiasts only wear theirs box fresh. “I throw them out when the toe pokes through, never before,” he quipped.

 

Anthony Delon was in his element, having just played a war reporter-turned-fashion photographer in “Paris Connections,” adapted from a novel by Jackie Collins and co-starring Charles Dance and Anouk Aimée.

 

Tomer Sisley, fresh off completing the sequel to his action franchise “Largo Winch,” will start shooting in Belgium and Luxembourg next month on director Frédéric Jardin’s “Nuit Blanche.” Chinese-born designer Yiqing Yin, who was short-listed for the fashion prize at this year’s Hyères festival, revealed that she hopes to launch her own fashion line shortly.
