Cocktails at Balenciaga's First Men's Store

The opening of the world’s first Balenciaga men’s boutique attracted such notable brand faithful as Amira Casar.

ONCE UPON A TIME: The opening of the world’s first Balenciaga men’s boutique attracted such notable brand faithful as Amira Casar - even if she was decked out in Junya Watanabe. “I’m here since the beginning,” the French actress said at the opening cocktail for the store on Rue de Varenne in Paris. Casar will next be seen in Richard Kwietniowski’s new comedy “No One Gets Off in This Town” later this year.

 

French actress Marina Foïs, who has three movies coming out before the end of the year, including “The Big Picture,” Eric Lartigau’s adaptation of Douglas Kennedy’s bestseller, was wearing a short cream color Balenciaga dress and conversing with upcoming pretty actor Pio Marmai. While guests lingered outside the small boutique sipping Champagne, PPR honcho François-Henri Pinault quickly toured the new store and rushed out.
