Shaun Samson Men's RTW Fall 2015

Shaun Samson elevated the laidback, work wear staples in his collection with luxe fur scarves and mittens.

Shaun Samson is known for his roomy, laidback silhouettes, and this season he worked them in a series of faded plaids, to cool effect.

Models wore oversized check shirts in shades of muted yellow, blue and red, paired with board shorts or chinos.

The plaids also gave a work-wear feel to the collection, as did the models’ Timberland boots and blacksmith-style aprons, which bore enigmatic pronouncements such as “adolescent, precocious, aspirational,” or “delusional, radical, bliss.”

And while the California-born designer’s fall collection wasn’t exactly designed for freezing climes, he nodded to the season by adding fur scarves and mittens.
