Roach's stark, austere collection had a Space Age look, recalling Courrèges and Pierre Cardin. There was a subtle play on volume with nylon outerwear and white collarless coats and jackets that hade been coated in foil. Strips of glitter on the front of knitwear and on the sleeves were the only embellishment, while white Chelsea boots heightened the collection’s Sixties airs. This was another sober outing for Roach, whose followers will appreciate the fuss-free silhouettes, while others might find the collection lacking in depth.
