Front Row at John Galliano

The front row at the John Galliano show on Friday had a musical bent.

HITTING THE PLAY BOTTON: The front row at the John Galliano show on Friday had a musical bent. “We’re busy mixing our third album,” revealed Anais Vandevyvere of French rock trio The Plastiscines, whose last release dates back to 2009.

Promising some “rock ’n’ roll with a pop vibe” inspired by Eighties girl bands like The Bangles and Bananarama, Vandevyvere said the album would come out in September — “and you’re the first ones to find out. That’s a real scoop!” Marion Corrales is also channeling new musical influences. The singer hired a new set of musicians for her next album, which will have a “more electrical” sound, she said.

Still badly wanted: a producer for the novel adventure. Meanwhile, comedian and actor Élie Semoun was entertaining his neighbors with fake interviews mocking journalists inquiring about the celebs’ upcoming projects. So what’s the real deal? “Take the leading part in a [French adaptation of] Woody Allen’s play ‘Aspirine pour deux,’” he said, allowing that the title he gave is “a bad translation” for what should be “Play It Again, Sam!”
