PALERMO’S POSTS: Longtime supporters of Ermenegildo Zegna, Olivia Palermo and partner Johannes Huebl once again took in the show on Saturday. Palermo was focused on her namesake Web site, which she launched in September. “I started it because friends were asking for styling tips, but it’s developed into a full-time job,” said Palermo. The actress works with about 20 writers on the site, which offers advice on fashion, lodging, beauty and lifestyle.

Zegna had some advice of his own, in the face of Standard & Poor’s downgrade of France and other eight European countries, including Italy, that day. “We must take these indexes with a grain of salt. Enough with the pessimism. We remain positive about 2012 because, other areas are working well and balance Europe, such as Asia, China, Japan, the U.S., the Middle East and Eastern Europe,” said Zegna, adding that his family-owned luxury company posted a 14 percent gain in revenues last year, reaching 1.1 billion euros, or $1.53 billion at average exchange.
