SHARP DRESSED MEN: In Joe Jonas, Zac Efron and Kellan Lutz, Calvin Klein assembled a sort of square-jawed (and well-suited) three amigos for its Sunday afternoon men’s wear show. Jonas, who only recently emerged from teen heartthrob land, struck a bit of an incongruous figure as he tapped the heel of his dress shoe along to the show’s soundtrack, which included “Heart And Soul,” a dreary tune by Manchester post-punkers Joy Division. The blogger Bryanboy, dressed in a white fur vest and neon orange trousers, sat within arms’ reach snapping shots of passing models over the Jonas brother’s shoulder.
Backstage before the show, Jonas explained that this would be his first runway viewing. “I’m surprised that they’re allowing us back here while they get ready because I usually need my time to focus,” he said. “I lock down for about an hour and I don’t let anyone in my dressing room, I just sit there with my brothers, or by myself if I’m doing a show by myself, and just kind of zone out, focus on what I’m about to get into.”
A little while later, a model walked up to have his picture taken with Jonas, and was quickly called back to a rack of clothes by a show runner.
Elsewhere, Efron explained that he was also a newbie to the front row.
“My first proper runway show,” he said, begging an obvious question.
“There have been some improper runway shows, yeah,” he explained with a laugh.
