Viktor & Rolf Men's RTW Fall 2009
Since Renzo Rosso took a majority stake in Viktor & Rolf, the designers have begun to enjoy an airy new studio, the manufacturing capabilities of Rosso’s Staff International, and a new shoe licensee. The Dutch duo’s signature wit shone through in bowler hat and pipe motifs, decorative use of adhesive tape and creative riffs on tuxedo shirts, which came in leather versions or with bibs printed on. The evening theme played on, lending a bib outline to a shearling jacket and rows of frills to a chambray shirt.
