Richard Chai Love RTW Fall 2015

Parkas, bombers, Chesterfields and anoraks — Richard Chai piled up the outerwear for fall.

’Tis the season for outerwear. Parkas, anoraks, bombers, bonded Chesterfields, shearlings — Richard Chai had the market covered and then some, sometimes showing coats two at a time. They came robustly tailored and tough and techy/athletic, layered in boyish looks softened by complimentary underlayers of long ribbed knits and filmy dresses. If the coats overshadowed what was worn under them, the look felt cool and current, with great color combinations, such as army green paired with dusty pink.

For the men, Chai took a casual approach this season with an edited and concise point of view. Down jackets were the notable pieces, layered on top of blazers, hooded sweatshirts and bomber jackets and paired with volume pants. The layered look translated throughout the entire collection, proving that the Richard Chai man is all about an active sport and tailored lifestyle.
