Front Row at Rodarte

Dakota Fanning, Karen Elson and Gia Coppola sat front row at the fall show.

DAKOTA’S DEFINITELY A RODARTE FAN: “It was just too cold for a dress today,” Lizzie Tisch, in a pair of paint-splattered jeans, said shortly upon arriving at the Rodarte show on Tuesday afternoon. Others were feeling the chill — “I feel like I’m coughing up a lung,” Karen Elson quipped, wiping her nose. A few seats away bench mates Gia Coppola, Delfina Delettrez and Sofía Sanchez Barrenechea mugged for photographers who had just beleaguered a very-grown-up-looking Dakota Fanning.

Kate and Laura [Mulleavy] have become such great friends of not only myself and my sister but of our whole family. They’re just such great people. They’ve been so wonderful to me in the fashion world sense, but also just as friends,” the starlet said, basking in the glow of the florescent lights beaming up from the floor. “Their relationship as sisters is so amazing to see, which is similar to myself and Elle’s relationship. Kate and Laura are just so kind. There’s no pretense about them and everything they’re interested in is always so enlightening. It’s really just a treat to hang out with them.”
