BABY TALK: It seems toddlers have taken over the front rows of Paris fashion shows this season.

Elisa Sednaoui, at Haider Ackermann on Saturday morning, theorized that “2013 was a baby-boom year, a very good year.” She said had her own nine-month-old son (then asleep at home) been present at the show, “this would probably be one of his first girlfriends.” She was referring to her little neighbor of about his age.

Sednaoui established a foundation last year to provide after-school programs for children using the arts as a tool. “The pilot workshop kicks off in April in Luxor, but the idea is to replicate the model around the world,” said the Italian-French model and actress with Egyptian roots. “It’s to have a place where children feel safe, can dream, have fun and be exposed to different cultures.”

Joana Preiss, meanwhile, is taking her son on stage in a tour that will kick off shortly. “I am working on a new concept for concerts,” she said. “All I do is improvise, and I’m doing it with my son who is playing the guitar.”

Olivier Theyskens, Yang Li, Caroline de Maigret, Delfina Delettrez and Daniel de la Falaise were also among the guests.
