GO FIGURE: Jill Zarin, of "The Real Housewives of New York" fame, was seated front row at the Desigual show, talking about her shapewear company "Skweez "Couture by Jill Zarin." She said she likes to attend fashion shows "to figure out what women need to wear underneath the clothes they're showing.
"That's totally why I come," said Zarin, who said she's going to be on Oprah Winfrey's show Friday night at 9 p.m., going up against the Olympics. Zarin said her shapewear collection is sold to stores such as Lord & Taylor, Bonton Stores and Macy's.
Nana Meriwether, Miss U.S.A. 2012, was also at the Desigual show. Since her reign as Miss U.S.A., Meriwether has moved to New York and turned her attention to her non-profit foundation which works in South Africa, doing health, education, HIV-treatment, as well as empowering women.
Others at Desigual included Karolina Kurkova, Maya Samuelsson and Sofia Sanchez Barrenechea.
