The Elder Statesman RTW Fall 2013

Greg Chait’s signature is as young and subtle as it is luxurious.

Greg Chait’s signature for The Elder Statesman is as young and subtle as it is luxurious. There is a cozy appeal to his clothes (he’s the most recent CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund winner) and this collection was made up of pieces that one could hold onto forever. The ensembles were put together effortlessly, most notably the stretched-out, jade cashmere cardigan over a hand-spun cashmere sweater and gray sweatpants; the oversize multicolored blanket wrap with peacock-printed leggings, and the V-neck sweater topping a checked pashmina shirt. All that was missing was a crackling fire.
