STAGE SET: Guests at the Kenzo show in Paris on Sunday morning marveled at the spectacular setting — the empty interior of former department store La Samaritaine, which has been closed for more than a decade.
 
Luxury conglomerate LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, which owns the building and the Kenzo label, plans to turn the site into a multi-use venue, which will also incorporate a luxurious Cheval Blanc hotel.
 
“This is incredible — it’s gorgeous,” marveled Jessica Alba, looking at the Art Nouveau railings and marble floor. The actress has been taking her daughter Honor to visit Paris landmarks like the Eiffel Tower, but said the four-year-old’s favorite sight is “wherever the hot chocolate is.”
 
“It looks kind of like an Arabian garage,” Delfina Delettrez, who has an ongoing jewelry collaboration with Kenzo, said of the decor.
 
Dressed in a fur-trimmed Fendi coat straight off the Milan catwalk, Delettrez revealed she has collaborated with photographer Daniel Sannwald on a one-minute film, due to premiere online in the next few days. Also taking in the display were Joséphine de la Baume, Leigh Lezark and Swedish singer Robyn.
