FIRST-NAME BASIS: This Paris fashion week will be remembered as a banner season for one-name female signers. Following front-row appearances by Cher and Fergie earlier in the week, Robyn and Noa got flashbulbs popping at Jean Paul Gaultier on Saturday night.
Swedish pop star Robyn said she’s in Paris on a leisure trip. She proudly held out a chunky necklace — “vintage Jean Paul Gaultier,” she cooed — which she paired with black leather Acne overalls.
Israeli singer Noa, who has a big following in France, said she performed at Théâtre du Châtelet on Thursday night backed by a symphony orchestra. For her stage costumes, she collaborates with Israeli designer Itay Shorer. “He really works in the old couture way,” she said.
Model Coco Rocha also took in the show.
