François-Henri Pinault's daughter Mathilde celebrated her birthday at the show with her father and his wife, Salma Hayek.

IN THE PINK: Is there a better way to celebrate a birthday than attending a fashion show? Not according to Mathilde Pinault, daughter of PPR chairman and chief executive officer François-Henri Pinault. The young blonde, dressed in a hot pink coat from the Gucci kids collection, was seated front row at the Gucci show on Wednesday, between her father and his wife, Salma Hayek.

“Today she turns 11 and this is her first time at a fashion show,” said Hayek, who is currently producing a movie based on “The Prophet,” the 1923 book by Lebanese-American artist, philosopher and writer Kahlil Gibran. “She really looks like one of the models in the backstage. Maybe in a few years she could walk the runways,” added Hayek.
