AN ARMANI PRINCESS: She may be leading the life of a princess, but Charlene Wittstock’s is a very busy one. Top of mind now is her namesake foundation, launched a month ago. “It’s about education in sports — water safety, swim programs and others,” said Wittstock, a former Olympic swimmer, at the Giorgio Armani show on Monday. “I still swim about twice a week, and I’ve become more appreciative of the sea, versus the pool,” she said. Wittstock, whose gown for her wedding to Prince Albert of Monaco was by Armani, is a longtime supporter of the house. “His designs are style classics, timeless and effortless,” she said.
