WHAT’S AT STAKE: Bernd Beetz, former chief executive officer of Coty Inc., turned up front row at Damir Doma’s show on Wednesday, and said he has invested in the designer’s burgeoning business. He declined to give details of his stake, and waved off questions about a possible Doma fragrance, preferring to talk about his outfit.
“I’m only dressing in Damir Doma,” he said, motioning to his stand-up collar shirt and slim-lapel jacket, all in black. He lauded the Croatian-born, Paris-based designer for having his finger on the Zeitgeist.
