PICTURE PERFECT: French director Géraldine Nakache can add fashion photographer to her bulging résumé. Spotted at the Carven show in Paris on Thursday, Nakache was wielding an SLR camera that she had been handed by the team at L’Officiel, with instructions to take pictures for the French fashion magazine.

“You’ll see, they’re going to be awful because I’m not a photographer. In fact, this thing looks like a real pain,” she sighed, turning to Vogue Paris photographer Saskia Lawaks for help. “Can you turn the flash back on?” she pleaded.

Fresh off promoting “Nous York,” which she wrote, directed and starred in, Nakache said she recently completed filming “Je fais le mort” (“I Play Dead” in English), a comedy about an unemployed actor who stands in for victims of crime scenes. She gets to play the straight role — an examining magistrate.

Inès de la Fressange, meanwhile, was testing the white Samsung smart camera she picked up on a recent trip to Dubai. “It looks like a fridge,” she laughed, as she immortalized the set backdrop — studded with used car bumpers — on her way out of the show.
