MUSICAL YOUTH: The Jean-Charles de Castelbajac show in Paris on Tuesday, held in a soaring Protestant church near the Louvre museum, was a magnet for musicians. Jean-Benoît Dunckel of French electronic duo Air, Mia Moretti, Mareva Galanter of Nouvelle Vague, Lou Lesage and French band Ultra Orange were among the guests who took in the show, which was inspired by another musician, Icelandic singer Björk.


The display opened with a live performance by French music video director and indie musician Yoann Lemoine, who goes by the stage name Woodkid, backed here by the church’s impressive organ. Santi White, a.k.a. Santigold, said she was heading straight to the airport after the show to fly to Berlin to promote her upcoming album “Master of My Make-Believe.” “It’s kind of a collage style, genre-less again. I would say it’s an evolution where I left off,” she said of the record. The singer will get exactly one day at home before playing the South by Southwest and Coachella festivals in the United States, and then join the Red Hot Chili Peppers on the U.S. leg of their tour. But she won’t be relaxing. “I think I have a photo shoot,” she said.


Natalia Keery-Fisher, better known as Natalia Kills, said she had just come off the European leg of the Cherrytree Alternative Pop Tour, with acts including LMFAO and Far East Movement. “It’s really wild, and the fans are really great,” she said.
