“Michael. Michael,” Debra Messing said before taking her seat at Michael Kors’ F/W 11 runway show at Lincoln Center on Wednesday morning. “I flew in from Los Angeles. Thirty years is just mind-blowing. A mind-blowing accomplishment. In the very first publicity photo I ever took for ‘Will & Grace’ I was wearing a Michael Kors shirt, and that’s where the love affair began. ”

It would seem Messing had some competition for Kors affection on the 30th anniversary of his label. It took no more than two words for the ladies sitting front row to explain their presence.

“Michael Kors,” said Catherine Zeta Jones.

“Miiiiichael,” said Rene Russo.

“Michael Kors,” said Bette Midler.

“Michael,” said Anjelica Huston before stopping to say hello to Grace Coddington. “Hi Grace. My goodness.”

Once in her seat, Huston was free to chat about her favorite Kors creations.

“I think wearing two really spectacular dresses of his to the Cannes Film Festival in probably the late Nineties,” the actress said. “They made me feel rich and popular.”
