Grace Jones Sings at Viktor and Rolf Party

“Where’s Gracie?” Jade Jagger trilled as she arrived at the fifth anniversary party for Viktor & Rolf’s Flowerbomb.

FULL OF GRACE: “Where’s Gracie?” Jade Jagger trilled Thursday night as she arrived at the fifth anniversary party for Viktor & Rolf’s Flowerbomb, created with the label’s fragrance license holder L’Oréal. She was referring to Grace Jones, who would perform at Le Meurice for hundreds of guests including Lou Doillon, Gareth Pugh, Keziah Jones, Renzo Rosso, Carmen Kass, Jessica Stam, Elettra Wiedemann and just about every other model in town.

Jones opened with “La Vie en Rose” in a sequined black bodysuit against a backdrop of hundreds of flowers. “When they called me, I asked, ‘Whose birthday is it?’ This is the first time I’ve sung happy birthday to a perfume,” she laughed as a giant cake arrived on stage. “The only thing she said was ‘I want bare legs,’” Rolf Snoeren said of Jones’ outfit, noting the collaboration with the singer is set to continue. “She’s taking some things home to Los Angeles,” he beamed. “I’m very sad she only did two songs; I was hoping we’d be here all night,” lamented Liya Kebede. Jones holds a special place in Trish Goff’s heart.

That’s because a few years ago, on the night of a Louis Vuitton event in Tokyo where Jones sang and Goff was celebrating a “very special birthday” (though she wouldn’t reveal which one), she got engaged. “She’s a legend. Very few people like that still exist,” marveled Daria Werbowy, who’s devoting herself to art projects, mainly black-ink drawings.

Life’s been mainly monkey business for Anouck Lepere, meanwhile. The model has been working with gorillas while volunteering in Rwanda and just posed with a monkey for an upcoming ad campaign for the Belgian brand Kipling. “I wanted to take him home,” she cooed.

Lindsay Lohan turned up as everyone else was leaving, having just arrived from London. “I had 10 minutes to get changed and get here, but I missed her,” Lohan said. The starlet is gearing up for the April release of “Machete,” in which she appears alongside cinema’s great Robert De Niro.
