Front Row at Jean-Charles de Castelbajac: Family Ties

The front row at Jean-Charles de Castelbajac's show in Paris was a family affair.

The front row at Jean-Charles de Castelbajac was a family affair: The designer's girlfriend Mareva Galanter sat near his son, Louis-Marie de Castelbajac, who was accompanied by current squeeze Dita Von Teese.

French singer Izïa Higelin has been trying to keep a low profile since winning two awards rock album of the year and best new live artist on Saturday at the Victoires de la Musique, France's equivalent of the Grammys. "Winning is exhausting there's a lot of pressure. You just want to go home and celebrate with your loved ones," she said.

But the 19-year-old singer is about to receive even greater exposure—she stars in a new print and TV advertising campaign for clothing brand Petit Bateau. Philippe Manoeuvre, the veteran music journalist who sits on the jury of France's version of "Pop Idol," gave a mixed review to Brooklyn-based duo French Horn Rebellion, who played a live set at the show. Would they cut it on the show? "Clearly not, they don't sing, and I am only interested in singers. They are more of a techno band," Manoeuvre sniffed.
