The designer contingent, including Peter Dundas, Alexander Wang, Stuart Vevers and Gareth Pugh packed into the Givenchy show Sunday night.
British comedian David Walliams said he’d traveled over from London on the Eurostar with fiancé Lara Stone to watch her walk in the show. “I would not typically be hanging out at a Givenchy fashion show in Paris,” he deadpanned. Photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, who said they were working on a book of mostly nudes, due out this fall, declined to name any of the subjects. “It’s just a bunch of naked friends,” Alas said.
Meanwhile, French actress Béatrice Dalle said she had just completed two new films, including “Domaine,” in which she plays a mathematician. “I’ve always been good at math. I mean, I know how to turn on a computer,” she joked.
