Front Row at Dolce & Gabbana

Actress Margareth Madé, who starred in Giuseppe Tornatore’s “Baaria,” couldn’t hide her disappointment that the movie wasn't nominated for an Academy Award.

Actress Margareth Madé, who starred in Giuseppe Tornatore’s “Baaria,” couldn’t hide her disappointment that the movie, which inspired Dolce & Gabbana’s fall men’s wear show, didn’t make the cut as a nominee for best foreign film at the Academy Awards. “I’m not sure I’ll watch the ceremony,” she said at the Dolce & Gabbana women’s show on Sunday. “I always try to watch the nominated movies, though.”

Former Bond-girl Caterina Murino is currently appearing in a theater production in Milan, “Dona Flor and her two husbands,” in which she wears the Italian label. “I just slipped into several pieces from their spring collection and, as usual, they fit me perfectly, so, voilà, they became my stage costumes,” said the voluptuous Murino.
