Raf Simons took his bow after the Jil Sander show with Christel von Kiedrowski, who has been head of Sanders’ Hamburg ateliers for more than 20 years.

SEW IT GOES: Raf Simons, who tends to be of the Miuccia Prada school of blink-and-you-miss-it runway bow, took his sweet time Friday night after his Jil Sander show – and he wasn’t alone. He had his arm wrapped around Christel von Kiedrowski, who has been head of Sanders’ Hamburg ateliers for more than 20 years. According to sources, the new owners of Sander, Onward Holdings Co. Ltd. and Gibo Co. SpA, are planning to shutter those ateliers.
