A REAL GEM: Gulnara Karimova, the jewelry designer daughter of the president of Uzbekistan, is to create a collection for Chopard. A couture-clad Karimova arrived at Christian Lacroix’s show Sunday on the arm of Fawaz Gruosi, chief executive officer of De Grisogono and husband of Chopard’s president Caroline Gruosi-Scheufele. Karimova, whose own line Guli offers elaborate pieces featuring precious stones, said she would unveil the collaboration, dubbed Guli for Chopard, at Baselworld in April.
