When it comes to makeup for her fashion shows, Donatella Versace loves an intense black eye. So makeup artist Pat McGrath whipped one up for fall, comprised of shiny black and dark blue powders on the socket and underneath the eye, framed with black fake eyelashes, black eyeliner and filled-in brows for definition.

McGrath dubbed the look Midnight Eyes and accentuated it with a hint of shimmery pink powder on the brow bones, swept onto the cheek.

McGrath paired the look with a nude gloss and pale pink blush.

For the hair, stylist Guido Palau played with a contrasting style of slicked-back hair at the top of the head using Redken's Hardwear Gel, and then a wavy, slightly teased bottom half.

"There is a hard edge to the hair but then we softened it up by brushing out the part below — it's a version of that same tough chic hair we have been seeing all season," explained Palau.
