An Androgynous Spin at Nathan Jenden


Neil Moodie, prepped hair with Thickening Spray and Styling Creme before rolling it into a Forties-style "victory roll."

"It’s London cool, " said Neil Moodie of the hairstyle he created for the 
Nathan Jenden show. "It’s tomboyish and androgynous. "

Moodie, who was working with Bumble and bumble products, prepped hair with Thickening Spray and Styling Creme before rolling it into a Forties-style "victory roll. " On the top of the head, he pinned the hair into a Fifties-style quiff.


Makky, working with MAC Cosmetics, described the two looks he created as "androgynous, sexy and pretty. " For one, he focused on peepers by  creating a dark eye using Eye Khol in Smolder and Eye Shadow in Carbon to set. For a dramatic and graphic finish, he used a Q-Tip to swipe away excess color from the inner corner of the eye, and coated lashes with Studio Fix Lash Black. Lips were key for the second look. Pouts popped with a combination of Lipmix in Crimson and Orange worn with Lip Pencil in Cherry, or a blend of Lipmix in White and Red blended over a yet-to-be-launched fuchsia lip liner. Makky used Studio Sculpt SPF 15 Foundation to create a dewy finish for skin.
