Dramatic Looks at Armani
Giorgio Armani didn't stray far from his trademark backstage look for fall, with a dramatic combination of a small, tight do and strong, made-up eyes.
Hairstylist Luigi Mureno fashioned a graphic zigzag side-part on the hair, which was slicked and twisted in a bun on the opposite side.
"Armani's the master of graphicism, and this updo complements the futuristic looking clothes," Mureno said.
Inspired by heavy makeup of the Eighties, Linda Cantello used a new Giorgio Armani shade of red, number 14, which is due out in fall, to create a velvety lip.
"It's made with a new pigment so it is a true red," Cantello said. Smoky eyes highlighted the mouth.
Cantello went neutral with the eyebrows and used a dark purple shade that swept out from the sockets. She added black liner on the inside of the eye and mascara on the top lashes.
"They are heavy-lidded," Cantello said, "it has a cinematography feel."
