Elegant met edge at Carolina Herrera's show Monday morning. Working with T3, Orlando Pita — given a directive by the designer to put hair up due to All the neckline detail in her collection — first blew hair out with a T3 blowdryer and T3's Plump. Next, he spritzed hair with T3's Renew dry conditioner. Pita then sprayed his hands with T3's Control hairspray and finger-combed hair back to create a little volume. Pita then began Tucking hair up and in and adding visible copper hairpins everywhere. "It's meant to look like the girls did it themselves, in a hurry," Pita said. He pinned small bronze flowers throughout the hair. "These flowers are also used on the handbags and shoes for the show," said Pita.

Diane Kendal, working with MAC Cosmetics at the show, first used a hint Of foundation all over the face. "Carolina was very direct ‹ she wanted the girls to look luminous," said Kendal. Kendal then lined the inside of The bottom eyelid with a nude shimmer pencil and added white pearlized Pigment on the browbone and the top of the cheekbones. "The intent is to pick up the light on the runway," explained Kendal, noting that the color doesn't read as white under the lights — just a pretty glimmer. Kendal used MAC Mineralize blush in peach to warm up cheeks. She finished with MAC's Twig lipstick, layered with a berry MAC Dazzleglass shade.
