After blow-drying models' locks straight and adding a cloud of Pantene spray, as well as some Fekkai Coiff Bouffant Lifting & Texturizing Spray Gel, hairstylist Sam McKnight said he set about "gently destroying the style to create something modern, disheveled and cool." He added a severe side parting to allow hair to fall over the models' eyes during the show. Serum for the ends finished the look.

Makeup artist Tom Pecheux, using MAC Cosmetics, plumped for a pared-down face with an equally subtle wink to the Eighties. "We're not playing around too much, just giving the models a touch of sparkle in very light doses," he said. Providing all the shimmer was the lip gloss Bling Black, being used for the first time at the show. But instead of applying it to pouts, Pecheux used the gray-black gloss on eyelids and brows. Subtle flecks of gold in the gloss created a soft yet glamorous khaki effect. Eyes were finished with a superlight coat of black mascara and liner. Lips, meanwhile, were moist but neutral, and cheeks went bare.
