Front Row at Elie Saab

Nina Dobrev, Marie-Josée Croze and Olivia Palermo were among the guests at the couture show.

HOT TO TROT: Elie Saab found an immediate taker for the fall couture collection he sent down the runway on Wednesday: Front-row guest Nina Dobrev was picking looks ahead of the August release of her new comedy “Let’s Be Cops.”

“I did see quite a few dresses that I took photos of and that I’ll be e-mailing to my stylist, because I have a premiere coming up,” she said after the show. “I’m wearing Elie right now. I always choose something that fits my body and that I can comfortably walk in, but that makes a statement.”

The movie is about two struggling pals who find success when they dress up as police officers for a costume party. “I fall in love with one of the guys who are impersonating police officers, and I don’t know that he’s not actually a police officer, so he keeps up the ruse for the movie. It’s a really funny film,” Dobrev said.

The “Vampire Diaries” star will be seen next year in “The Final Girls” alongside Taissa Farmiga and Alexander Ludwig. “There’s a lot of screaming in the movie, but it’s also a comedy, believe it or not,” she said. “It does have a horror element but the comedy comes out of the situations, because they are so absurd and kind of out-there.”

Olivia Palermo, Marie-Josée Croze, Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece and her daughter Maria-Olympia of Greece, Clotilde Courau and Fawaz Gruosi also took in the show.
