A gaggle of up-and-coming actresses attended the couture show.

BRIGHT YOUNG THINGS: For the rising talents at the Alexis Mabille couture show on Monday, summer is synonymous not with poolside relaxation, but promoting their upcoming releases.

Canadian-born Pom Klementieff stars in comedy “Les Kaïra,” which comes out in France next week. “It’s a gag-a-minute, Judd Apatow-style comedy," she said. "People who object to smutty humor should probably skip it."

Having studied at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, Caroline Tillette was particularly excited about the August premiere of her first English-language film. "Interview with a Hitman" co-stars former Bros singer Luke Goss. "He's the hitman, and I'm his hitgirl," she said.

Linh Dan Pham will be seen next in the Agatha Christie adaptation "Partners in Crime," also released in late August. "I play a scientist — it's set in a youth clinic," she said of the murder mystery. Italian actress Chiara Francini was waiting to find out the name of her leading man in the upcoming romantic comedy "Crazy for Me," to be directed by Fausto Brizzi.

Meanwhile, Marie-Josée Croze was looking forward to some well-earned rest after two months of shooting in the Moroccan desert on "Intersection."  "There was nothing except for camels. It's totally silent, it's unbelievable. We were completely disconnected from the outside world," she marveled.
