Ronald Winston Steps Down

Last Winston family member leaves jewelry firm.

Ronald Winston has retired as chairman of Harry Winston Inc. and been appointed honorary chairman, marking the departure of the last Winston from the famed 118-year-old jewelry business.

Winston, 67, is the son of founder Harry Winston and began working in the business in 1965. He will now focus on his work with medical research of AIDS and an upcoming book on the history of the business called “King of Diamonds.”
