CHICAGO — Legwarmers, fingerless gloves, Flock of Seagulls hair and Cyndi Lauper had their comeback at Macy’s Glamorama held Friday night at the Chicago Theatre.

This year’s event, an Eighties tribute themed “Pop Candy Arcade,” drew 3,000 guests and raised $250,000 for the Art Institute of Chicago.

Strutting the red carpet were actors Steve Guttenburg and Sanaa Lathan, in a black Dolce & Gabbana bustier dress; Oprah Winfrey’s former personal chef, Art Smith, who co-owns Chicago eatery Table Fifty-Two; rapper MC Hammer ,who showed red-carpet host Lawrence Zarian a few dance moves, and Lauper, who sped by, agreeing to...
