Stefani Greenfield is co-founder and creative director of hip specialty boutique Scoop, which sells women’s and men’s apparel.

Her vision behind Scoop was to create the “ultimate closet” that organizes the latest fashion must-haves — not by designer label, but by color, classification and trend. The concept of mixing up designer items with lower-end items drew a loyal following and gained momentum among shops like Intermix, Barneys Co-Op and Neiman Marcus’ Cusp. Greenfield also became a co-host for “Scoop Style” on the Home Shopping Network.

Born in New York City, Greenfield earned a BA in mass communications from Tulane University in New Orleans. In 1989, she joined Donna Karan, rising to national sales director at DKNY. Greenfield moved on to Esprit as vice president of design and merchandising before teaming up with Uzi Ben-Abraham to launch the first Scoop store in 1996. Currently, there are 15 Scoop boutiques, and the company plans to expand internationally.

Greenfield is also co-founder of Love Heals, the Alison Gertz Foundation for AIDS Education. The Foundation was created to continue the AIDS awareness campaign started by her late friend.
