WEBER’S SCOTTISH CLAN: Vogue Italia’s October issue has a 30-page shoot by Bruce Weber featuring model Stella Tennant and her daughters Iris and Jasmine, along with Tennant’s longtime friends Colin and Isabella Cawdor with their daughter Beatrice. The images capture the group vacationing at Drynachan Lodge on the Cawdor Estate in the Scottish Highlands: Tennant holds two black lambs; Colin and Isabella Cawdor gaze lovingly into each other’s eyes; the three little girls wear delicate flower crowns, and Tennant and Cawdor ride horses.
“I wanted to give both of you [Tennant and Isabella Cawdor] some photographs that you could look back on when your children have grown and you are having some tea while knitting your grandchildren gloves for the oncoming freezing winter,” Weber writes in a note with the shoot. “Stella, you have told me, and Joe McKenna has too, ‘I can’t wait for the day that you come to the Highlands.’ You were so right and it even toughened me up a bit.”
