NEW AT THE JOURNAL: There’s been some reshuffling among The Wall Street Journal’s fashion crew. Alexa Brazilian, fashion director of the weekend paper’s lifestyle section, Off Duty, is moving on to a new role as editor at large.
Succeeding her is Meenal Mistry, who’s been acting fashion features director at WSJ. Magazine for the past three months. She’ll oversee all style and fashion coverage and report to section editor Ruth Altchek.
Mistry came to the Journal as a freelancer; she’s been a contributor most recently at Style.com and Harper’s Bazaar.
As editor at large, Brazilian will be based in London and continue to contribute to Off Duty, as well as the paper’s style and fashion pages. Both begin their new roles Aug. 1.
