TRAVELING OVER: Condé Nast Traveler editor in chief Pilar Guzman is rounding out her editorial team with a number of promotions and new hires. Lindsay Talbot, a senior features editor at Harper’s Bazaar, is coming on board as a senior editor and is joined in the same position by Rebecca Misner, a contributor to Momfilter.com. Guzman and Traveler creative director Yolanda Edwards created that parenting Web site after the folding of the magazine they helped launch, Cookie. Hanya Yanagihara was promoted to executive editor from editor at large, a position that will now be filled by Maria Shollenbarger, a contributing editor at Travel & Leisure. Guzman let go 14 staffers in late September, including the executive editor and the global affairs editor.
