PLANNING WAY AHEAD: Stephen Drucker hasn’t hired a full time fashion director yet at Town & Country — and it appears he won’t be doing so anytime soon. Drucker has asked industry veteran Sarajane Hoare to cover all the collections and direct fashion editorial for the magazine’s March issue — yes, March 2011. Most recently, Hoare was a contributing editor for Vanity Fair. She’s also served as fashion director of the London Observer, British Vogue, Frank magazine, Glamour and was editor at large for Harper’s Bazaar. “There’s no one better to cover Europe for us right now than her,” Drucker said. When asked if the title will increase its fashion coverage, he told WWD, “It’s not just about the number of pages. It’s about making our fashion stories work harder, our photos more inspiring. If you tear out a page, I want you to recognize it’s T&C and no other magazine.” — Amy Wicks
