TOMMY’S TEAM: Tommy Hilfiger has restructured its p.r. and marketing department. Heather Vandenberghe, formerly senior vice president, marketing and communications at Louis Vuitton, has joined Hilfiger as senior vice president of marketing and communications for the Americas, a new post. Tiffin Jernstedt, senior vice president of global communications, who began at Hilfiger in December, will make her planned move to Amsterdam in July. Both executives report to Avery Baker, chief marketing officer of Hilfiger.
Vandenberghe will oversee the p.r. and marketing teams in New York and will focus on aligning Hilfiger’s marketing and communications strategies in the region with its business and brand positioning globally. Jernstedt will continue to direct the global communications team, as well as strategy and special projects. Zach Eichman continues as vice president, corporate communications, reporting to Vandenberghe and working with Jernstedt on global matters.
