SWITCHING TEAMS: Top executives of magazine publishers may have been presenting a unified front at the Association of Magazine Media conference Wednesday, but that didn’t stop them from poaching staff. Glamour revealed it has named Paul Ritter creative director in the ongoing shake-up at the title. Ritter, whose appointment is effective Nov. 11, joins from the Hearst Magazines-owned Elle, where he was design director. Prior to that he worked with Elle’s Joe Zee at the now-defunct Vitals magazine. Ritter succeeds Geraldine Hessler, who is leaving the title after overseeing a redesign last August.
