REASSIGNMENT: Jack Kliger was to become chairman of Hachette Filipacchi Media, but instead has decided to stay on at the company as a senior adviser to new chief executive Alain Lemarchand until the end of the year and then leave the company. Kliger sent a memo to staffers last week explaining his new plans. What’s with the about face? A spokeswoman said Kliger was still mulling his future plans when the transition was revealed by the company in June.
