OUT WITH THE OLD: Pilar Guzmán, the new editor in chief of Condé Nast Traveler, raided her old magazine, Martha Stewart Living, for her new creative director, Yolanda Edwards, who started at 4 Times Square last Wednesday. Her appointment follows the dismissal of three editors last week: photography director Kathleen Klech and managing editor D.L. Aldrich got the news Thursday, and style director Mark Connolly got his pink slip Friday.

Still, a staffer said Guzmán is handling the transition well. “She met with everyone [Monday] to recognize the moment,” the person said, without discounting that more staff changes might be coming as Guzmán puts together her own team. A spokeswoman said the latest member is Joyce Bautista Ferrari, who is coming on board in a new position that gives her oversight over both the print and digital teams, editorial director of development and operations. Bautista will just be moving floors — she was the executive managing editor of Brides.
