NICOLE’S TURN: Du Jour magazine set a high mark for itself when it launched this summer with a cover featuring Christy Turlington shot by Bruce Weber. The sophomore effort, out in two weeks, doesn’t do half bad: editors Keith Pollock and Nicole Vecchiarelli snagged Nicole Kidman, who was shot by Patrick Demarchelier in the South of France, where she’s shooting a Grace Kelly biopic. The megarich target audience — the magazine says it’s delivered to readers with more than $250,000 in annual income — will be surprised to also find inside a feature on that glamorous political figure Rahm Emanuel. The issue has fewer ad pages than the first — 87 to 100. Founder Jason Binn blames higher rates for the dip, but is banking on recouping the inaugural ad haul in the spring issue out in February.
