MOMMY ME: Three wacky months later, The New York Times finally has a new mommy blogger.

The Times has tapped KJ Dell’Antonia to succeed Lisa Belkin as the paper’s Motherlode blogger. Dell’Antonia has been writing regularly for the site since Belkin left in early October and has been a contributor to Slate’s Double X blog for the last two years. She will report to the Times’ blog development editor Megan Liberman.

Meanwhile, the Times has now served AOL, The Huffington Post’s parent company, with a lawsuit over the name of Belkin’s Parentlode blog. Arianna Huffington told New York Magazine last month, “We’re sticking with the name. I’m not changing it.”
