ON TARGET: Kate Spade may be under the Liz Claiborne Inc. umbrella now, but that won't change the development — or budget — of future ad campaigns. For fall, Spade is maintaining its ad budget. Starting in September, the accessories brand will roll out its campaign, based on the theme of "I've always wanted to…" Camilla Rutherford, an actress on the HBO series "Rome," was photographed by Cig Harvey in Southampton on Long Island doing the sorts of things adults have always wanted to do but never found the time for, such as archery, bird-watching and piano practice (well, some adults anyway). Andy Spade said the photo shoot was also captured in a behind-the-scenes film that will play on the company's Web site. The campaign will begin running in the September issues of Vogue, W, In Style and Town & Country. — Amy Wicks
NEW HIRES: In Style has found a replacement for accessories director Alice Kim, who left her position last month. Meggan Crum joins the title from W, where she held the same position. Crum will join the Time Inc. monthly on July 16. Also at In Style, Nancy Bilyeau has been appointed deputy editor. She joins today from Ladies' Home Journal, where she negotiated celebrity book excerpts and exclusives and edited the food and front-of-book sections. Bilyeau has also worked at Good Housekeeping, Entertainment Weekly, Rolling Stone and Mademoiselle. — Stephanie D. Smith
