WHAT A GEM: Interview magazine sure is a big supporter of Van Cleef & Arpels these days. Not only are editor in chief Ingrid Sischy, publisher Sandra Brant and fashion director Annabel Tollman on the host committee for the Parisian jeweler's upcoming "Une journée à Paris" party at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York Sept. 4, but Tollman will style a runway show during the event. Tollman stresses it is strictly a freelance gig, but added helpfully that she often uses pieces from Van Cleef & Arpels for editorial in the magazine. It is expected to be the jeweler's largest event ever in the U.S. Prosper Assouline, Alber Elbaz, Lee Radziwill, Anne McNally, Irina Lazareanu, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Muffie Potter Aston, who formerly served as head of p.r. for the jewelry company, are also on the party's host committee. — Amy Wicks
