That said, Wintour will make a pit stop in Paris on her way back home to preview the collections. Vogue is expected to be represented in Paris with the usual crew, which includes creative director Grace Coddington, fashion director Tonne Goodman, fashion news-features director Sally Singer, fashion market-accessories director Virginia Smith, European editor at large Hamish Bowles and editor at large André Leon Talley.
Those French designers who fret over a Wintour-less front row can, of course, extend an invite to model Snejana Onopka, who was a dead-ringer for the editor in the August issue of Paris Vogue. — Marc Karimzadeh
PRINT TO WEB: Us Weekly senior reporter Shelley Reinstein is leaving the Wenner Media weekly to join MySpace in a new position in its communications department. She spent four years at the magazine, spending the last year of her tenure in L.A. Reinstein was well-regarded by her gossip brethren and respected for her ability to get close to — if not a little cozy with — her subjects. Case in point — she dog-sat Sean "Diddy" Combs' dog after meeting him during the "Vote or Die" campaign pushing young people to vote in the 2004 presidential election. And she's bound to find those relationships helpful in her new position in p.r. at MySpace — where Reinstein will manage entertainment content for the site, including press and promotion for its individual celebrity pages, and will take her role Monday. — Stephanie D. MARTHA SPACE: Speaking of MySpace, it's not enough for Martha Stewart to have a presence in print, television, the Internet, home building, home goods and, come next year, your local Costco via frozen dinners. She, like most publicity-hungry magazine editors, had to take hold of MySpace as well. The multiplatform domestic grande dame launched her official MySpace page at the end of July, complete with video from her daytime talk show, "Martha," pictures of her pets and her old modeling photos. Some of those images show Stewart in swimwear, causing one "friend" to comment "Wow! Risque! Hot!"
